A new chapter
The Auberge du Bois Prin built by Denis Carrier in 1976 is one of the mythical addresses of the Mont-Blanc valley. A true wooden cocoon typical of mountain chalets, the establishment offers a friendly setting as a vacation home for quiet and elegant stays. Fallen under the spell of this magical place, the new owners Emmanuel and Kristine Renaut consider themselves lucky and have only one ambition, to continue to make the Auberge live for the greatest happiness of mountain lovers by perpetuating the family adventure.
A chic and Savoyard decoration
Entirely redecorated in a contemporary style by Kristine Renaut in collaboration with Maison Arpin, L’Auberge du Bois Prin has nevertheless kept its old mountain chalet charm thanks to the woodwork and exposed beams.
This 4-star hotel offers a dozen rooms designed and decorated in a purely Savoyard wooded and warm spirit combining wood and soft fabrics. With soft color tones, a mix of wool and velvet materials and contemporary style furniture, the rooms reveal themselves in their best light. Each room is unique and has a balcony or a terrace with a magnificent view of the Chamonix valley, an opportunity to contemplate the Mont-Blanc massif at will. The charming hotel also has a relaxation area with sauna and hot tub to enhance the stay of the guests which will open very soon.

In embarking on this adventure, chef Emmanuel Renaut wanted to bring the Auberge’s restaurant, which had been closed for several years, back to life by introducing his cuisine and his signature style. The gastronomic menu is simple and modest like the chef’s. A cuisine in the image of the place, also creative and gourmet, it invites you to discover local products. The hotel’s vegetable garden provides herbs and vegetables complemented by the offer of local producers including cardoons from Plainpalais, Arctic char from Lake Geneva or mountain game. The most gourmet will be surprised to discover a new flavors and suggestions in a peaceful setting with a spectacular view of the Bossons glacier, the Aiguille du Midi and the Mont-Blanc.
A new offer
Enthusiastic about this first season, the owners of the place have imagined an original offer “Romantic Escapade” which includes one night in a double room with a dinner for two people at the restaurant l’Auberge (excluding drinks) and with breakfasts. An opportunity to enjoy an intimate and romantic one-to-one getaway in a dream setting at the top of the hill.
The “Romantic Getaway” offer is starting at 390€, for 2 people on reservation, valid from Wednesday to Sunday.
A new chapter is being written in the history of the Auberge du Bois Prin, located in a natural environment where it is good to live, the place is just magical and worthy of the most beautiful postcards. Emmanuel and Kristine Renaut promise a warm welcome service for a stay in the mountains where you almost feel at home.
