An iconic brand
Algotherm, a brand known for its marine skincare products, is preparing to launch a new Spa concept in Lyon: Le Dermo Ocean Spa. It will be highly technical to represent the brand’s expertise, particularly in facial treatments.
On arrival, customers will be greeted by skin therapists who will carry out a diagnosis of their skin using the Dermoscan. This will enable them to offer a personalised treatment based on each customer’s needs. Machines equipped with various technologies such as LEDs, Aquapeeling, cryotherapy and oxygen will be used to provide expert, tailor-made treatments.
The Spa’s design is inspired by the ‘journey’ of light. Visible from the street through large windows, the Spa’s reception area is luminous, with sandy colours, curves and a wave evoking the ocean, all set in a warm atmosphere thanks to stone walls and wooden furniture. Here, customers can receive flash treatments, undergo a diagnosis, and then head to the upstairs cabins for a more intimate, muted experience, under a spirulina-blue ceiling. A huge painting of blue curves on the wall invites this transition.
Algotherm: committed and sustainable cosmetics
Algotherm is a committed brand that strives to offer increasingly responsible products. They strive to develop formulas composed of 95% ingredients of natural origin and biodegradable, without controversial ingredients, and always dermatologically and/or ophthalmologically tested to guarantee perfect harmlessness for sensitive skin.
The active marine ingredients, derived from renewable resources, are harvested with respect for marine biodiversity and reproduction periods, in order to protect the environment. In addition, product packaging will be more environmentally friendly, using FSC-certified cardboard, double-sided printing to eliminate the use of leaflets, and mainly recyclable glass or recycled and recyclable plastic.
These principles will also be applied to their professional products.
