The historical house with an Italian feel
Villa Maia is perched up on Fourvière hill, with a breath-taking view of the city of Lyon. The Villa has 37 rooms and suites, all elegantly decorated and each with its own private outdoor terrace. Those who appreciate the exceptional things in life will be impressed by the unique 100 m² apartment, with outstanding panoramic view. This ambitious project was brought to life by three men who shared the same vision for beauty and perfection: interior designer Jacques Grange, architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, who is well-known across the globe, and landscape gardener Louis Benech. You can also come and discover the bar and the superb Thermal Baths overlooking the wonderful gardens.
It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, admire the bar made out of glass from the Saint Just glassworks, creating beautiful effects with light and transparency, and just take the time to savour an almond-flavoured cocktail, the hotel’s speciality, in harmony with the fragrances all around you. Chef Christian Têtedoie was named “Best Craftsman of France”, and he welcomes lovers of fine dining to his restaurant, “Têtedoie”, boasting a Michelin star, and located opposite the hotel. He is always looking for new creations and offers a cuisine filled with emotion, inspired by the seasons and nature.

The Roman Baths
The ancient vaults revisit the art of the Roman thermal baths. A Pompeian ceiling, walls in plaster vibration rest on important marble columns. To reach the majestic indoor heated swimming pool, 20 meters long, a sublime marble floor, representing a black and white checkerboard.
