Domaine de Suzel

Located in Vignieu, in Isère, at the crossroads of Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry, Domaine de Suzel welcomes its guests in a natural and bucolic setting. This former family farm, acquired in 1929 and passed down from generation to generation, has gradually evolved into a place to stay where heritage, nature, gastronomy and well-being come together.

At the heart of the estate, the 4-star hotel offers rooms and suites combining authenticity and modernity, in a peaceful atmosphere close to nature. Guests can also enjoy a vast 8.5-hectare park, gardens and two swimming pools heated to 30°C: a small pool on the Pigeonnier side and a large pool on the Jardin de Marie side.

The gastronomic restaurant La Grange de Pépé draws its inspiration from the traditions and terroir of northern Isère. Chef Denis Moreau offers modern and refined cuisine combining creativity and tradition, using fresh, seasonal produce and local flavours.

The estate also features the Chez Mémé bistro, whose cuisine is inspired by family recipes passed down from generation to generation. Fresh and seasonal produce, traditional recipes and generous flavours make up this second dining experience.

The stay continues with a focus on well-being, with a spa, hot tubs, a sauna, a hammam, a Nordic bath and relaxing treatments.

Activities and things to do around Domaine de Suzel

Domaine de Suzel offers several activities directly on site, allowing guests to alternate between relaxation and leisure: electric mountain biking, electric scooters, archery, table tennis and pétanque. The swimming pools, spa, sauna and Nordic bath provide additional ways to enjoy the estate without having to leave it.

The surrounding area also offers plenty of opportunities for outings. The estate’s website particularly recommends Walibi, the ViaRhôna, the Grottes de la Balme, the archaeological museum of Lake Paladru, the medieval town of Crémieu, the Chartreuse Cellars, as well as several sporting activities and wildlife parks.
